Ghana Football Association has secured new partnership for the upcoming season with headline televion partners expected to be announced in the coming days.
The 2019/20 domestic season is set to be screened on a yet to be announced televion station with other local television stations showing weekly highlihgts of the various tiers.
President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku, hinted at an impending announcement that will reveal the identity of the television and radio stations licensed to broadcast the upcoming domestic season.
“I think that in the next few days, the FA will come out with names of institutions that bid. We did open up the bidding process to the public; bids came through, we are evaluating the bids. We will soon announce our TV [and] radio partners”, Mr Kurt Okraku told the press.
Ghana Football Association opened bids for interested television and radio stations to apply for broadcasting rights ahead of the new season.
The 2019/20 GPL season kicks off on December 27, 2019 across designated match venues.
