2020/21 Ghana Premier League – Legon Cities beat Inter Allies to stay off Relegation

Legon Cities made a dramatic escape from the bottom end of the Ghana Premier League Table with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Inter Allies in the last of week 28 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Royals clib up to 9th on the league log with 38 points, and looks set to have another season in the Ghanaian top flight.
It took the former Ghana Champions 57 minutes to break their opponents following a mistake from the goalkeeper that saw Cephas Doku rise about all to head home the winner.
Allies dominated majority of the game with Richmond Lamptey, Samuel Armah, and Mohammed Zakari controlling affairs.
Coach Felix Aboagye’s side were only goal shy, but proved very positive in all departments of the game.
Cities could not celebrate the victory as their goalkeeper Sylvester Sackey suffered an early minute injury that took him off the game.
The results leave Inter Allies rock bottom of the Ghana Premier League with only 26 points from 28 matches
