2020/21 MTN FA Cup: Detailed List Of Qualified Clubs Announced

 

Organizers of the annual MTN FA Cup has kicked off preparations for the 2020/21 edition of the domestic cup with detailed list of qualified clubs released at the regional level.

The hugely revered domestic cup competition is the biggest casualty in Ghana football since the Anass expose with no finalist since 2017 due to varying factors.

The appointment of Normalization Committee, the Annas documentary and the influx of COVID 19 have truncated the last three editions of the annual elimination tournament.

Qualified teams from the 2019/20 edition have been maintained at the third tier to add to the 48 division one clubs and 18 topflight teams.

This directive was communicated to the Regional Football Associations in  a communique spotted by 442gh.com.

Official launch of the tournament and fixtures will be released in January 2021 when the football calendar would have taken shape.

All clubs that participated in the 2019/20 editions have been granted automatic entry into this season’s edition as seen in the list below.
