Abdul Fatawu Shafiu’s AFCON In the Hands Of Kwesi Appiah

 

Head coach of Asante Kotoko SC Charles Kwablah Akunor has called on the media to leave Kwesi Appiah to decide his AFCON squad amidst call from the local media for the inclusion of in-form Abdul Fatawu Shafiu into the official roaster.

The Asante Kotoko gaffer pleaded with the media to give James Kwasi Appiah a stable mind to name that fill into his system with just 49 days to the continental showdown.

Abdul Fatawu Shafiu made a dream start to the ongoing NC Special competition with 6 goals for the Porcupine Warriors led by two stunning dead balls to match.

 

“The truth of the matter is he has done well no doubt but whether he will be called into the national team it’s not in our hands, it’s in the hands of the manager.”

“So I think he’s doing a good job there are a lot of players and we should leave it to him to decide”, CK Akonnor told Oyerepa FM.
