Accra Hearts of Oak have announced hey have parted ways with 5 of their top playing stars including Joseph Esso for various reasons.
The Five players are Benjamin Agyare, Bernard Arthur, Abubakar Traore, Bernard Arthur and Joseph Esso.
The Accra base side announced the decision to sack Joseph Esso is that both parties were unable to reach an agreement on his new contract.
Esso is leaving Hearts of Oak because the club couldn’t meet his demands for a contract extension as he wanted GhC150,000 as signing on fee while the Rainbow club were offering GhC90,000.
Defenders Benjamin Agyare, Christopher Bonney, and attackers Bernard Arthur and Abdulai Traoré are leaving the club for non performance according to Ghana Soccer net.
The quad made a combined 14 appearances for the Phobians in the 2019/2020 campaign which was canceled midway.
The club thanked the 5 players for their services over the past years and wished them well in their future endeavors.
