Accra Hearts of Oak SC talismanic midfielder Emmanuel Nettey has denied ever yelling at head coach Edward Nii Odoom during their 2-2 showdown with Ashgold SC.
The versatile play maker was seen talking back to an unknown person on the touch line with section of the media and social media users accusing him of yelling and barking at his trainer.
In a quick response to the purported yelling, Emmanuel Nettey detailed what actually happened on the touchline and ruled out any such gesture from his game.
In an official message from his social media handles, Nettey revealed in house communication between him and his other colleagues on the bench which was mistaken as the non existent yelling.
“Good morning to the Phobian family, not a good time to do this and I don’t usually do this but I have to this time, I’ve had msgs and tags that I shouted at our head coach which is absolutely false.
It was a player who stood up from the bench to yell at me to go forward and I only wanted him to tell him we need to calm down Cos we were leading and we just had 3 mins to win.
I repeat I never and will never shout at my coach. Thank you.. Phobia”, Nettey posted.
The game ended 2-2 thanks to a late drama from the visiting Ashgold SC.
