AFCON 2019 : Black Stars Captain Andre Ayew Confident Of Tunisia Scalp Ahead of Last 16 Showdown In Ismailia

Ghana Black Stars skipper Andrew Morgan Dede Ayew has predicted the downfall of Tunisia ahead of their knockout tie on Monday in the ongoing AFCON staged in Egypt.

The four time champions will engage the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Monday in a round of 16 tie at the Ismailia sports Stadium at exactly 19:00 GMT in search of a quarter final spot.

Speaking on Accra based Joy FM, Andre Ayew said, he remains optimistic the Black Stars will be too hot for the Eagles to contain.

“Tunisia will fall in Ismailia on Monday. Football is not only about tactics, but it is also about being united as a team and competing for every ball.”

“We have to be smart too and I have no doubt that the boys will deliver and reach the quarter finals”, Dede Ayew told Joy FM.

The winner of the Ghana versus Tunisia game will meet Madagascar for a place in the semi final of the championship.
