Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah failed to explain to media men the tactical and technical decision his team took in leaving out Inter Milan Star Kwadwo Asamoah out of his side that defeated Kenya 1-0 in Accra.
Speaking at the post Match press conference, Kwesi Appiah said, Kwadwo Asamoah was in his plans before the game, “Actually Kwadwo Asamoah was in my plans, as to whether he will start or sit on the bench you know I have to make the final decision” yet the coach failed to explain why he finally settled on benching the player for the entire duration of the game
The coach further explained that, Lumor Agbenyenu has been his preferred choice on the left back role “For some time now I have been using Lumor , and I believe that he had to start, so that along line I may bring Kwadwo in” He noted
The undecided Coach Appiah continued that, “I was looking Kwadwo in a way that I might use him at the back or use him in the midfield role, So I decided to keep him on the bench for now so as the game went on I will think of whether to bring him or not,” he noted.
