AFCON 2019 : Tony Lokko Advises Kwasi Appiah To Drop Underperforming Players For Decisive Cameroon Clash

Head Coach of Berekum Chelsea FC Tony Lokko has advised Black Stars trainer James Kwasi Appiah to drop underperforming players ahead of their upcoming decisive fixture against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

The experienced gaffer told his compatriot to drop the big name players if that will help him get the needed results and possibly image saving performance against Cameroon.

A suffocating drawn game against Benin has left Ghana in a must win game ahead of the clash with the defending champions if they want to avoid coming home early.

In an exclusive interview with 442gh.com, Coach Tony Lokko urged Kwesi Appiah to be bold in his player substitution and player selections.

“I also urge Kwesi Appiah to be bold to change good players he trusted who are not performing” Tony told 442gh.com.

Coach Tony Lokko seriously opined that Kwesi Appiah shouldn’t be hesitant to bench players that he trusted but are underperforming.
