AFCON 2021: Detailed Groupings Confirmed By CAF, Champions Algeria Pitch In Same Pool With Zambia

The road to the 2021 AFCON Championship took shape with the official qualifications draw for the group stages all but confirmed by Confederation of African Football.
A total of 12 groups of four teams each are set to compete for the 24 available slots for the 2021 AFCON with some mouth watering fixtures popping up along the groups.
Three times AFCON winners, Nigeria, will have negotiate past Benin Z Sierra Leone and Lesotho for a place in the next AFCON.
The Black Stars of Ghana, perennial under achievers at the continental fiesta, have been Pooled in gruop C alongside South Africa, Sudan and the winner of Mauritius and Sao Tome clash.
Burkina Faso lead gruop B that has Uganda, Malawi and the winner of South Sudan versus Seychelles clash.
Record Champions, Egypt, will have to get the better of Kenya, Togo ND Comoros to book their ticket after failing woefully on home soil.
