Ghana’s skipper Andre Ayew has joined an elite class of footballers in the African continent after notching his first goal in the ongoing AFCON.
The Ghanaian talisman inked his name into the score sheet for Ghana’s opener against Gabon in an eventful 1-1 thriller in group C.
The goal powered Andre Ayew into an elite class of footballers in the continent to have scored at six different AFCONs.
The 30-year old attacker joined Samuel Eto’s, Asamoah Gyan and Kalusha Bwalya as the elite quartet of players to have registered at least a goal in six different tournaments.
