Ghanaian midfielder James Kotei is relishing the prospect of lifting major trophies with Kaizer Chiefs after completing a sensational switch from Tanzanian side Simba SC.
The versatile midfielder capped an impressive year with Simba SC with a switch to the PSL for a three year deal with Kaizer Chiefs and has now revealed his ambitions in the South African topflight.
A stunning performance for Dar Es Salam based Simba SC earned Kotei big move to the ABSA Premier League for the start of the 2019/20 domestic season.
Speaking to 442gh.com after completing his move to the PSL, James Kotei revealed the reason behind his absence in the opening two League matches and his dreams of lifting major trophies with Kaizer Chiefs.
“I am adapting to life here in South Africa after a stressful season with Simba SC. I was just taking some rest but now ready for my debut as a player”
“I just want to win trophies and get back to my best possible form as a player. Everything is working towards that for that especially with the structured nature of things here in the ABSA Premier League”, Kotei told 442gh.com exclusively.
The midfield dynamo might be making his debut for Kaizer Chiefs on August 24 against Super Sports United after missing the opening two fixtures for his new team.
