Anderlecht manager Vincent Kompany looks forward to extending the loan deal of Ghanaian-born defender Derrick Luckassen.
Luckassen is currently on loan from Dutch Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven.
The defender looks to have impressed so far in his loan period commanding a regular spot in the team.
Kompany wants to work things out to have the 24-year-old for at least an extra season.
The former Netherlands youth star is in line to switch nationality to Ghana after meeting with Black Stars Coach CK Akonnor.
Akonnnor held talks with the player during his European tour. The Ghana Football Association is expected to facilitate his Nationality switch in the coming weeks.
He could not make Ghana’s 23-man squad for the suspended Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan due to documentation issues.
