As human as we are, i know Nana Yaw Amponsah can never be perfect. He has his positives and negatives. But every neutral analyst would definitely score his positives in less than one year’s administration in Kotoko against his negatives.
The Board of Directors of Kotoko must therefore be given the credit because they have seen the prospect in him, they are capitalizing on the “POSITIVES” Nana Yaw is bringing on board and are solidly behind him physically, spiritually and financially in the midst of all these challenges in the early stages of his administration.
I am so proud of the Board of Directors of our beloved club Kotoko because they are using their maturity level as advantage to also help ‘right the supposed or reportedly WRONGS
‘ of Nana Yaw’s administration for him to score more positives in the coming seasons
The Board as matured as they are would never expect the talented football specialist and his management to be able to change the fortunes of Kotoko within this short period as CEO.
They know the number of seasons Togbe’s Board and management spent before winning the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL)for Accra Hearts Of Oak
I expect Nana Yaw ‘s second season as Kotoko CEO to be an improved one judging from his vision and mission statements
By the way, are we aware that FIFA has ordered USM ALGER to pay an amount of 300 thousand Euros to Kotoko plus 5 percent Interest from 22nd March ,2021 in relation to Kwame Poku’s Transfer fee ?
Imagine how the media landscape would have been if that verdict went against Kotoko
Kotoko Supporters must rally massively behind the current management because;
Within the same season we had new Board, new CEO , new management etc , went to Africa and played our home matches in Accra , played all our 17 home matches away from home in the GPL but still placed 2nd on the league table, faced massive financial challenges due to COVID 19 etc but the infant management of Nana Yaw Amponsah and with massive support from the board still survived it. Again this Administration has been paying debts that are supposed to have been paid by the then administration, for instance Christoph Nettey’ $30,000.00, the players signing on fees etc. Every minute Kotoko is been chased by debtors
I wouldn’t bore you with the extremely huge number of sponsors that were brought on board by this administration in the mist of COVID 19
What about the on going project at our training grounds ?
Nana Yaw Amponsah needs our total support because we can never have a perfect administrator especially as we return to our favorite Baba Yara Sports Stadium next season. Amen
