Arsenal beat Chelsea to win 2019/20 English FA Cup

Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Chelsea 2-1 in the finals of the English FA Cup.
The Gunners recorded a repeat of the 2017 finals by clinching the trophy for record 14th time.
Christian Pulisic scored for Chelsea just under 5minutes after the Arsenal defense failed to clear their lines.
Arsenal however took off after conceding as they made some incursions for the equalizer. Ivorian attacker Nicholas Pepe looked to have found the equalizer in the 24th minute after smashing a ball pass Willy Caballero in post for Chelsea only to be ruled offside.

The Gunners however drew themselves level 3minutes later after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang converted from the spot having won a foul in the box following a tackle on him by Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta.
Chelsea were however forced to make a change before half time when injured Azpilicueta was replaced by Matteo Kovacic.
Arsenal however looked more purposeful upfront, ending the half as the better side. Arsenal started the second half still as the better side and created a couple more opportunities.
Aubameyang shot Arsenal into the lead 23minutes from time after receiving a pass from striking partner Alexandre Lacasette, beat two Chaldea defenders before taking a calm chip past Willy Caballero in the Chelsea goal.
Chelsea’s woes in the game worsened when they were reduced to 10-men after Matteo Kovacic was sent off for a reckless challenge on Dani Ceballos.

Blues boss Frank Lampard threw in Ross Barkley, Hudson-Odoi and Tammy Abraham for Antonio Rudigar, Mason Mount and Oliver Giroud.
Arsenal in effect also made a quick substitution by bringing on Ghanaian-born Eddie Nketiah for Alexandre Lacazette.
