Inter Milan have announce the signing of Arturo Vidal from Barcelona.
The Chilean was one of many players Barcelona Coach Ronald Koeman asked to leave after taking charge of the side.
Vidal’s future at Camp Nou was uncertain hence the decision to return to Italy where he previously played for Juventus.
Inter on Tuesday announced that the 33-year-old has joined the Club on a permanent deal.
The midfielder moved to Germany at a young age when he signed for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
After excelling at the Club in five-years, Juventus signed him from Leverkusen where he went on to win several League titles with the Italian side before making a return to Germany to join Bayern Munich.
He however made a move to Barcelona after a three-year spell with Bayern.
At Barcelona, he was seen as one of the established midfielders in the team but got sidelined after the appointment of Ronaldo Koeman who decided to offload several aged players in the team including Luis Suarez who is heavily linked to Atletico Madrid.
