Assistant coach of Ghana Premier league side Legon Cities Wahid Mohammed has expressed the club’s hopes in Asamoah Gyan to deliver in the Ghana Premier league.
Coach Wahid was full of praise for the striker who had an impressive 20 minutes of game time in the match against Medeama SC.
CoCh Wahod said hos side will not rush into givjng Gyan pressure, but will manage his fitness levels before throwing him into full games, stressing Gyan has a lit to offer his side.
“We are going to do our best every now and then to manage the fitness level of Asamoah Gyan, he can give us a lot when he is fully fit. I believe in him a lot, same as my technical team.” Coach Wahid told the media at the post match press conference.
Asamoah Gyan made his Ghana Premier league return after 17 years of playing abroad. He returns with loads of experience having played in Europe, Middle East, and India.
