Ghana’s representative in the 2018/19 CAF Confederations Cup Asante Kotoko have confirmed friendly games with Premier League giants Medeama SC and Karela United.
The Reds are in camp in Takoradi in preparation for their CAF Confederations Cup participation and have lined up friendly games with the two sides to usher them into the competition later this month.
The club has added eleven new players to their squad to augment their old squad in their quest to do well in their Confederation Cup campaign.
The team will need matches to shape up well to find the momentum towards Africa and playing Medeama and Karela will be key to their preparations.
Asante Kotoko will play Medeama SC at the Essipong Sports Stadium and will later play Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park at Aiyinase.
The game between Asante Kotoko and Karela United is part of agreement between both clubs to honor a game after purchasing two of their players; Ismail Abdul Ganiu and Maxwell Baakoh.
