Asante Kotoko Demanding $22k From Ex-Coach Maxwell Konadu- Check Details
Asante Kotoko have demanded $22,800 from former head coach Maxwell Konadu for overusing office vehicle.
According to the club, Konadu has overused Toyota Fortuner with the registration number GT-8186-19, which he was supposed to hand over after the Reds part ways with him in December last year.
After one year into his two years contract, Kotoko mutually part ways with the 47-year-old.
Hence, Konadu dragged the Porcupines to the GFA Player Status Committee last Thursday to demand $60K in compensation and damages.
Following Konadu’s action, the management of the club has officially written to the ex-gaffer for “loss of use” of the club’s vehicle from 19th December 2020- 5th March 2021.
With a day been charged $300, the former Black Stars assistant coach will pay $22,800 after using the car for almost three months after his sacking.
