Dr. Amo Sarpong “Energy” recounts that participating in Africa will be a good grounds for the club in marketing what Asante Kotoko have.
The Normalization Committee announced last week that there will be no show for Ghanaian clubs in Africa next year in a meeting with GHALCA, however, Asante Kotoko have taken a swipe of the decision to seek for a berth in the competitions.
Speaking to Luv FM in Kumasi, Dr. Amo Sarpong reiterates that it will be on a fair dealing and cordial contractual relations with the club’s sponsors for Asante Kotoko to partake in Africa next year.
“Representing the country at the continental level brings up the image of the country, other countries get to hear the name of Ghana and get to know our players,” the policy analyst recounted.
“Even on marketing grounds it is good for our players,” he further expatiated.
“How do you think MTN, Paradise Pac, Hollard Insurance, Goil will feel when we are sitting home all this while for the league to start when we have the opportunity to represent Ghana in Africa? he quizzed rhetorically.
