Ghana’s super powers Asante Kotoko SC and Hearts of Oak SC met in the maiden edition of the social media Inter club Champions with the Porcupine Warriors emerging landslide winners.
The two Ghanaian sides zoomed past a number of clubs on their way to the grand finale.
Dubbed as Clubs Fans Knock out competitions, the championship took the form of the CAF Champions League with 8 teams selected for the final phase of the competition.
With a little over 20K Facebook users voting on the final game, Asante Kotoko SC recorded a championship winning 56 percent to emerge inaugural winners.
The virtual tournament boosted the social media interaction of various club fans across the African continent via the African Soccer Zone official Facebook page.
Another edition is expected to grace the social media platform in the coming days.
