Highly-rated Bofoakwa Tano centre-back, Andrews Kwadwo Appau has completed a sensational move to Asante Kotoko, the club has confirmed.
The youngster was a hot property in the transfer window having being hailed as the next big thing in Ghana football.
Kotoko have high hopes for Appau and will be delighted to see off interest from Legon Cities and other local clubs who were all tracking the centre-back.
Appau completed his mandatory medical yesterday as reported by 442gh.com and has today penned a four-year deal with the Reds, but the youngster will have to work his way into Maxwell Konadu’s first-team squad.
His signing has become the latest deal for the Porcupines in what is turning out to be a busy summer for the Kumasi-based club having secured the services of Emmanuel Keyekeh, Patrick Asmah, Razak Abalora, Latif Anabila, Mubarik Yussif and Evans Adomako.
Andrews Appau is part of the Ghana U20 players called up to camp for a pre-selection exercise ahead of the Wafu championship in Togo.
