Leadership of Ghana’s sole representative in the 2018/19 CAF inter-club competition are set to expose management members caught by their hidden cameras involved in ticket racketeering at the gate in an explosive video expected to humiliate some top ranking members of the club.
The Ghanaian side have accrued an impressive GH¢1.9 million in gross value at the gate but have accused their ticket sellers of hoarding a chunk of the gate proceeds at the expense of the club.
As part of plans to curb the viral theft on match days, Asante Kotoko SC, through the National Sports Authority, installed CCTV cameras at vantage points on the various entry points to check and monitor how tickets are sold wrongly without any official accounts.
The Accra representative of the club, Mr. Edmund Ackah, hinted that his outfit will premiere a stunning video that will expose unscrupulous members caught in the dubious act of diverting monies meant for the club into their personal pockets.
“Management has in custody videos of certain people stealing monies at Baba Yara gates at the detriment of Asante Kotoko SC.
“It will interest you to know that people have been finding their ways to the stadium unlawfully. Others have to do with the press as well as medics gicing their accreditations to people who are not designated to”, Edmund Ackah told Oyerepa FM.
Asante Kotoko SC have enjoyed an average of just over 4 billion cedis per home match in their 4 continental home ties played so far.
