Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko SC have announced a one-year partnership deal with State-owned National Lottery Authority (NLA).
The Porcupine Warriors announced the deal on Monday after a successful negotiation with the Ghanaian Gaming Company.
The partnership deal which will be mutually beneficial to the two parties [KOTOKO and NLA] was announced at a joint press conference at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
The new partnership agreement will see the 24-times Ghanain champions receive a whopping 1 million Ghana Cedis in One year and subject to renewal at the end of the deal.
The press conference was addressed by Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah and NLA boss Samy Awuku.
Asante Kotoko club legends Kwasi Appiah, Daniel Asare, George Kennedy, Opoku Nti, Abdul Razak and Papa Arko were also present at the press conference.
NLA becomes the thirteenth company to sign a partnership deal with Asante Kotoko under the Nana Yaw Amponsah led management since his appointment in September 2020.
As we reported last week, the NLA will iin the coming days announce a similar deal with Kotoko’s arch rivals Hearts of Oak.
