Asante Kotoko have been handed a major injury boost with the return of midfielder Mudasiru Salifu to training.
The Porcupines will travel to Sogakope this weekend to face WAFA in the Ghana Premier League and a busy January remaining fixtures to come.
His return is a major boost for Johnson Smith’s team, who have struggled in the league in recent matches.
The 23-year-old was pictured training with the rest of the squad at Adako Jachie on Wednesday morning after an injury-laden 2020 which saw him making few appearances for the club.
Mudasiru’s appearance in training with the Porcupines squad suggests the Popular midfielder is closing in on a welcome return to action.
Meanwhile, the team will train at the newly-built astroturf at Atonsu this afternoon at 3:00.
