Ashanti Gold are willing to release midfielder Latif Anabila to Kotoko, according to CEO Emmanuel Frimpong.
Anabila is said to have expressed interest in joining the Porcupine Warriors after the Ghanaian giants made contact for his signature.
The midfielder was said to have held talks with some officials of Kotoko over the possibility of joining next season.
According to Emmanuel Frimpong, his outfit will not block any potential move from Kotoko for the midfielder who has just one-year left on his current contract at Ashanti Gold.
“No one has reached out to me about Latif Anabila from Asante Kotoko but if he wants to go, we will stop not him,” he told Kumasi based Sikka FM.
Kotoko meanwhile have been ordered not to make any signing for the next one year as part of measures put in place by the Club’s top hierarchy in Manhyia.
It was reported that the Club’s National Circles Committee were planning to fund the transfer of Anabila.
