Spokesperson for the Ghana FA Normalization Committee appears to be on an attacking mission following the exit of the Black Queens from the Total Women’s AFCON.
Dan Kwaku Yeboah, after lashing head coach Bashiru Hayford for ill-preparing the team for the tournament has made sexist comments against the goalkeeper of the Black Queens Nana Ama Asantewaa for her blunder which gave Cameroon an equaliser in the last group game.
Ghana had taken the lead against Cameroon in the last Group A game through a Portia Boakye free kick, but a needless tackle from Nana Ama gave Cameroon a penalty which they eventually converted to equalise.
Dan Kwaku Yeboah who appeared angry in a radio interview attacked the Black Queens goalie for the blunder, insisting a male goalkeeper will not make such a needless mistake.
“…for instance, the blunder the goalkeeper committed, could have been avoided if it were a male goalkeeper,” he told Radio Gold.
