The Legon Cities Head Coach has promised of a resurgent Cities side for the final lap of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
The Royals have had a good run in their last five games, 3 wins, a draw and a loss including their goalless draw against league leaders Karela United.
Their recent performances have seen the team stick the neck above the relegation zone as they continue to improve.
Speaking at post-match after the stalemate with Karela, Hayford said he was content with the results and certain that his team will only get better.
“The game was tough honestly. We prepared very well for them. The draw was a true reflection of the game. I picked a lot of positives from this game.”
“I am very confident that before the first round ends and we start the second round, you’ll see a change in this team. I am very happy with how the boys are gradually picking up. We have done a lot of work and that’s showing.”
“When you’re down on the table, your spirit is down as well but the boys keep proving to me that, it’s possible and I am here to guide and assist them always.”
“We will prepare well for our next game (Hearts of Oak) like we did against Karela United today. We will continue to take it game by game. I am still for many changes.”
