Bayern Munich defeated Sevilla 2-1 to lift the UEFA Super Cup on Thursday night.
The UEFA Champions League winners maintained their dominance in Europe by fending off a resilient Sevilla side.
Lucas Ocampos shot Sevilla into the lead from the penalty spot after Ivan Rakitic had been fouled in the box by Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule.
Bayern Munich will draw level before half time, thanks to a Leon Goretzka strike.
Goretzka lashed onto a well set up ball by Robert Lewandoski.
Bayern emerged the better side then after and dominated most part of the first half.

Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesrey who had come off the bench to replace Luuk De Jong missed the best chance of the game and what could have won the match for the Spanish side after he failed to beat Manuel Neuer in post in a one-on-one situation as the game travel to extra time.
Javier Martinez climbed off the bench to net the match winner for Bayern in extra time to clinch the ultimate for the Bavarians.
