Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah’s call-up into the senior national team for the AFCON double header qualifiers against Sudan must not be surprised to anyone, but credited to former Ghana international Ben Owu who is Accra Hearts of Oak’ current goalkeeper’s trainer.
Attah, 25, for the first time made the cut into the 23-man list of the Black Stars named by head coach C.K Akunnor. The phobian shot stopper has featured in ten matches for the Rainbow club
keeping six clean sheets, conceding seven goals and losing one game since joining from Elimina Sharks.

It is also, only approriate to applaud the invisible hands of his trainer Ben Owu for helping Ghana discover another talented young chap whom he is lecturing with all his skills and experience garned as a player and coach working with many top clubs both in the domestic and foreign front.
