Tasked with the responsibility of filling the void left by the free scoring Princilla Adubea, Sandra Owusu Ansah revealed missing the supplies from her ‘partner in crime’.
Speaking to FIFA.com after their early elimination from the showdown, Sandra Owusu Ansah opened up on the absence of her partner.
“It’s really hurt us,” said Owusu-Ansah. We really link up well together and we can find each other with our eyes closed.
“It’s a lot tougher without her around and her absence has affected me, and the rest of the team for that matter”, Ansah told fifa.com.
The Black Princesses managed a 1-0 win over New Zealand in the final group game after ceding 8 goals in the opening two games including a baptismal 4-1 defeat at the hands of host France.
