Wa All Stars defender and skipper of the Ghana national U20 team Issahaku Konda is on the verge of joining Tunisian powerhouse Esperance de Tunis with negotiations already at advance stages.
The former Asorkor Deportivo centre back enjoyed a remarkable career at the Wa Malik Jabir Park culminating in the 2016 triumphant season with Wa All Stars in the Ghanaian topflight.
The imposing centre back is reportedly closed to switching camps to the North African super powers after impressing them during his time with Wa All Stars and the Ghana national U20 team.
Representatives of Konda and Esperance are expected to put finishing touches to their negotiations in the next few weeks ahead of an impending deal.
Konda joined Wa All Stars for the start of the 2015/16 domestic season and has since eased his way up the ladder to become one of the finest centre backs in Ghana thanks to robust nature at the back.
