Black Stars and Asante Kotoko hoalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim celebrated his birthday with heartwarming gesture by reaching out to the Kwadaso Edwenase Special School in Kumasi.
The young shot-stopper turned 19 years on Thursday 2, December and decided to mark his special day with a donation to special needs school.
Danlad who is yet to play a single game for Asante Kotoko this season present soft drinks, biscuits, bags of rice, cooking oil among other things.
“I’m Very Excited Celebrating My Birthday with The Orphans,” the goal keeper wrote on his Facebook page after the gesture.
The Ghanaian youth International enjoyed a productive loan spell with city neighbours King Faisal last season as he helped the club survice relegation.
He also earned a call up to the Black Stars although he is yet to play a single minute for the senior side.
Danlad Ibrahim was a member of Ghana’s Under 20 team- the Black Satellites that won the CAF and WAFU U-20 championship in Mauritania and Benin respectively.
Despite pushing for a move way from Kotoko due to lack of opportunities, the youg goalie was convinced to stay with the Porcupine Warriors and fight for his place.
