The seasoned Administrator contested and lost the 2019 GFA Presidential election but has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for Aduana Stars FC.
He is expected to be handed a five year development plan that will change the fortunes of the Dormaa based premier league campaigners.
George Afriyie, a known face in Ghana football for the last decade and half, comes with refined administrative skills and has been earmarked as the man to rejuvenate the ailing fortunes of Aduana Stars FC.
The former GFA Veep will replace Albert Ayittey Commey as the CEO for the Fire Boys when the 2019/20 Ghana Premier league kicks off over the weekends.
