Red-hot Ghanaian forward Solomon Asante has been named the Player of the Week in the United Soccer League after his three goals and one assist for Phoenix Rising FC in the past week.

The goal thirsty attacker took his goal contribution to 18 goals by scoring in the sixth consecutive game to earn Phoenix Rising FC a comfortable lead at the top.

Asante scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist in 5 days to send his league side clear at the top with three crucial goals on the road.

 

The former Berekum Chelsea and TP Mazembe attacker has been named in the Team of the Week alongside Bonomo and Iwasa as he continues to soar higher in the United Soccer League.

Asante took his season tally to 10 goals and 8 assists in 13 League matches.
