CAF CL: Seasoned Ghanaian Trainer Bashir Hayford Urges Asante Kotoko SC Not To Sack Under Fire Manager Despite 3-0 Drubbing In Tunisia

Veteran Ghanaian trainer Bashir Hayford has called on the management of Asante Kotoko SC to concentrate on progressing into the money zone of the CAF Confederation rather than firing their under pressure manager after their elimination from the continent’s premier club football.
A 3-0 damning defeat in Monastir bundled Asante Kotoko SC out of the CAF Champions league despite posting a healthy 2-0 win in the first leg at the Baba Yara stadium.
With several voices calling for the head coach of the Porcupine Warriors, Bashir Hayford schooled the management of the 2 times CAF Champions League to concentrate on booking a place in the group stages of the confederation cup rather than firing Kjetil Zachariossen.
Speaking on Angel 102.9 FM, Coach Bash urged his compatriots to do holistic review of their defeat and channel their attention towards the CAF confederation cup.
“The 3-0 away defeat to Etiole in Monastir was unacceptable but sacking thecurrent coach is not the best way to go. Management should look at how they can progress in the CAF Confederation Cup”, Coach Bashiru told Angel 102.9 FM.
Bashiru Hayford is currently the head coach of the Somalia national team.
