Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Dr. Ahmad Ahmad joined the Cantonment Muslims in Greater Accra for the Jum’a prayers after a visit to Ghana for the ongoing 2018 AWCON at the Cantonment Police Mosque.
The Malagasy teamed up with his fellow Muslims in the renowned Islamic community in Accra for the Friday congregation prayers accompanied by former Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Osman Nyantakyi.
Ahmad Ahmad stunned the football fraternity in Africa by unseating Issah Hayattou for the top managerial seat in African football.
His tenure of office have seen many revolutions in the game across the continent led by the qualification of Madagascar and Mauritania to the 2019 AFCON to be staged in Cameroon.
Dr. Ahmad Ahmad has been in Ghana since the start of the 2018 AWCON and is expected to grace the grand finale as well.
