Management of the national sports authority has placed a whopping $3illion naming rights on the Accra Sports Stadium for five year deal.
The financial crocked institution is calling on corporate bodies in Ghana to cough out a cool three million dollar in exchange of the naming rights.
Formerly know as the Ohene Gyan Stadium, the Accra Sports Stadium has always been dubbed as the Wembley of Ghana sports and comes with many other features for sporting activities.
Interested investors are to meet the managerial wing of the National Sports Authority for round table negotiations on how the three million dollars will be paid over the five year period.
Potential investors will then have the stadium named after their brand with their banners, billboards and other electronic posters placed on the confines of the pitch during sports programs.
The Sports Ministry recently embarked on a routine renovation of the capital based facility as part of preparations for the 2018 African Women Cup of Nations staged in Ghana.
Experts and pundits of the game are calling on the government to hand the various national stadia to corporate bodies or private institutions to be managed.
