Chief Executive Officer for Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah has secured 16 pickup vehicles for all 16 Premier league clubs in Ghana.
The multi billionaire bought the vehicles for the topflight sides before the sudden investigative tsunami into local football in the country by Anas Aremeyaw Anas earlier in June.
Nana Appiah Mensah recently pumped over $10m into the sponsorship of the Ghana premier league with his Menzgold company and wanted to spice that with a Zylofon branded pickup.
In an interview on Asempa FM, Micheal Osei, who is the head coach of Star Madrid, hinted that his paymaster was on the verge of dashing all 16 premier league clubs with a vehicle each before the Anass issue popped up.
“Nana Appiah Mensah bought 16 vehicles to be distributed to 16 premier league club but unfortunately the league came to an abrupt end”, Coach Micheal Osei revealed on Ash FM.
The former Asante Kotoko SC assistant manager added, “We need people like Nana Appiah Mensah who are ready to invest in the game”.
Ghana Premier League have been without a sponsor in the past few seasons before the arrival of Menzgold on a 5-year deal.
