Hearts of Oak head coach, Kosta Papic surprised Ghana missed out in the ongoing Championship for African Nations(CHAN) in Cameroon.
Papic says considering the talent in the country, Ghana should be in the tournament made for players playing in the domestic league.
The Black Stars B lost to Burkina Faso 1-0 on aggregate failing to score in Ouagadougou after losing the first leg at Baba Yara.
This is the third time in a row Ghana have been kicked out in the qualifies after missing Rwanda in 2016, Morocco in 2018 and Cameroon.
“I’m very surprised Ghana did not qualify for the CHAN competition. For me, that is very strange. I believe Ghana has quality players to play in that competition”, Kosta Papic said in an interview.
