Club icon Charles Taylor says Asante Kotoko new signing Latif Anabila has not lived up to his expectations.
According to Taylor, he had hopes in Anabila but the player is yet to impress him since joining Kotoko last year.
The offensive midfielder joined from Ashanti Gold on a free transfer and has been unfortunate with injuries since he put pen to paper.
Speaking with Kumasi FM, the 2004 CAF Confederations Cup finalist said the club itself has not been stable in their performance and some players are also yet to live up to the billing.
“The Kotoko team is on and off. There some players when they joined Kotoko I had hope in them but their performances have dropped a little bit. An example is Latif Anabila. There are certain players when they join Kotoko they want to have it easy. But he should be doing double of what he did for Ashgold.”
