City Lodge Hotel Assistant Manager debunks stories that Asante Kotoko have stolen items from their hotel

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have not stolen any items from the City Lodge Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, according to the Assistant Hotel Manager of the hotel.

According to Allan Kimani, the Assistant Hotel Manager, no items have been stolen from the hotel which can be attributed to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

He further added that his outfit dissociates themselves from any report accusing the Porcupine Warriors from stealing.

“As far as I know and as far as the staff knows, we have nothing that is missing that we can attribute to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

“It is a public environment and, of course, once in a while, a guest can take their towel from the room but we can’t attribute that to Asante Kotoko,” Allan Kimani said.

He added that Ghanaian sides that have stayed at their facility have comported themselves excellently and can’t, in any way be blamed for missing items from the hotel.

“We don’t have any problem with the Ghanaian federation and any side from Ghana. We have a good relationship and we have hosted many clubs and national teams from Ghana and can’t report of any problem,” he added.

Asante Kotoko stayed at the City Lodge Hotel for three nights to play against Kariobangi Sharks in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The game, played on Saturday ended goalless and the second leg will take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on December 22.
