Club Licensing Board Unconvinced With Most Venues For 2021 GPL Season

Manager for the Club Licensing Board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) – Julius Ben Enumah, says the board is not fully satisfied with some football venues in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Fox FM, Enumah revealed that, there are minimal infrastructure issues to be addressed by the clubs whose venues for the upcoming season was not confirmed by the Club Licensing Board.
“There are some venues yet to meet the full criteria of the Club Licensing Board. Due to confidential clauses, I cannot disclose the said clubs and respective venues”.
According to him, the second phase of the venue/stadia inspection will be conducted on Friday and next week Monday. “Failure to meet the criteria of the Club Licensing Board by completing the required works at the various stadia will lead to non-confirmation of the said stadium/venue for the upcoming season.
“We are looking forward to improving professionalism and to make our venues/stadia meet the required criteria/standard”.
