Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Akambi has confirmed that resigned Medeama SC coach Samuel Boadu has signed a three-year contract with the Phobians.
Hearts are without a substantive manager with U15 coach, Samuel Nii Noi acting as an interim manager after the resignation of Serbian gaffer Kosta Pic last month.
Eventually, the Phobians have landed a replacement for Papic with Boadu taking over until 2024.
Although the club is yet to officially announce the coach, Akambi says the former Asokwa Deportivo manager will start work today.
“Samuel Boadu is officially starting work Today, 1st March,” he said.
“We signed him for three years and he is coming with his own assistant coach.”
Boadu was present at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday where he witnessed the game which his newly found club played as a guest of Asante Kotoko.
His first task at the camp of the Phobians will be against WAFA in the Match-Day 17 of the 2020/21 Premier League.
