David Atanga Picks Injury in Greuther Furth’s 5-Goal Thriller At Bielefeld

Ghana youth international David Atanga picked up an injury in Greuther Furth’s 5-goal feast against Armenia Beilefeld in the German Bundesliga 2.

The pocket size attacker limped off for the visitors 35 minutes into the game at the Schuco Arena after a promising start to the goal flooded game.

Jacob Edmunson and Stephan Salger handed Bielefeld a 2-0 lead in the first half before a late surge from the visitors turned  the game on its head in a thrilling 3-2 triumph.

Ghanaian attacker, Prince Osei Owusu, enjoyed 74 minutes for the host whiles Atanga was replaced with Marco Caliguiri just past the half hour mark.

Atanga has enjoyed a new lease of life since returning to Germany with 8 appearances for Greuther Furth in the second tier.

The win took Greather Furth into second slot on 19 points, just 1 point adrift of the league leading FC Koln.
