Reigning Ghana Premier league champions Accra Hearts of Oak SC rounded up another successful negotiation as their plans for continental football take center stage.
The capital based side recently finalized their negotiations with want away midfielder, Benjamin Afutu, after a triumphant campaign on the local terrain.
With Afutu’s contract running out in the next few months, Accra Hearts of Oak SC nailed their workaholic midfielder down with a long term deal.
The latest player on the negotiation table, who doubles as the club’s skipper, has also agreed personal terms with the club on a renewable deal.
Mohammed Fatawu, who is the skipper for the Phobians, inked a rolling 2-year deal on January 2018 and was heavily tipped to end his stay with the capital based side at the end of the 2020/21 GHPL season.
Trusted sources however hinted that Mohammed Fatawu and Accra Hearts of Oak SC have finalized their negotiations for a new contract.
The reigning champions will officially announce their transfer packages after the MTN FA Cup finals on August 8, 2021.
