Dreams FC coach Vladislav Viric feels disappointed after Berekum Chelsea put the breaks on his side on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
Viric recorded a maiden defeat in the Ghanaian top-flight,1-0, at the Golden City Park.
“We played our hearts out today. We came here for the 3 points and leaving with nothing is a sad one. But this isn’t the end, we just have to regroup and prepare for our next game,” he said after the game.
“Luck was not on our side, we created enough chances but did not get a goal out of that, Berekum Chelsea scored not because they created a chance but rather a mistake we committed and that hurts,” he added.
However, Viric is confident that his charges will react well to the defeat in their subsequent games.
“We have quality players and a single defeat doesn’t define our season. We know we have a lot of games to play, the important thing is to keep our heads high and play for a win in our next game.”
Dreams, although lost, they are third on the table sitting on 25 points as they welcome Ashanti Gold next in a midweek encounter.
