Technical Director of Ghana Premier League side Dreams Football Club, Abdul Karim Zito has showered praises at new Asanate Kotoko trainer, Prosper Narteh Ogum, describing him as a very good coach.
Narteh Ogun, formerly of the West African Football Academy(WAFA), joined the Porcupine Warriors before the start of the season on the back of an impressive campaign which saw the Sogakope based club finished third on the Ghanaian top flight standings.
Asante Kotoko opened their 2021-22 season with a dramatic late come-back win over Karim Zito-led Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.
And peaking with Hot FM in Accra, the Dreams FC stand-in coach praised the abilities of the Kotoko trainer whose side trailed the belivers 1-0 until the 86th minute of the encounter, only to turn the game on its head and come out 3-1 winners.
“He is a very good coach. Yes, I did so, I recommended him to Asante Kotoko because am his mentor, I know him really well, in fact, I recommended him also to Dwarfs back in the days and he never disappointed me,” Zito explained.
Asked about his predictions for the top four places for this season’s Ghana Premier League, the Ghana Under-20 coach added: “It’s too early in the league to predict who will win and who will be in the top four because a lot of issues will arise in the league”.
