France-based Ghanaian forward Ebenezer Assifuah led Ligue II side Le Havre FC into a stunning 0-1 away win over topflight side Girondins Boardeaux to book a place in the last 16 of the Coupe de France.
The Ghanaian import scored the only goal of the game to evict the topflight side and book a place for his second tier side in the race for the domestic cup.
Assifuah feasted on the rare start handed him in the team with a top rated performance capped by the decisive goal to make a case for himself heading into the home streak end of the season.
The 25 year old made 27 appearances last season but is yet to mark his 2018/19 season debut in the domestic league after dropping to the bench.
The former U20 star was replaced with 16 minutes to regulation time as he draws closer to sealing a place in the mainstream team.
