Edmund Addo influential in FC Sheriff 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of the UEFA Champions league play-off.

It was a spirited performance from FC Sheriff Tiraspol when they coasted to a 3-0 victory over Croatia side Dinamo Zagreb in the first leg of the UEFA Champions league play-off qualification.Ghanaian midfielder, Edmund Addo, played a significant role for the Moldova club who have taken a giant step towards Champions league football next season.
FC Sheriff showed great ambition going forward and resilience at the back. Forward Adama Traore scored a brace in the 45th and 80th minute with Dimitris Kolovos on target in the 54th minute.
Edmund Addo played 87 minutes of action, providing energy, driving runs, quick interplay and relentless stamina. The 21 year old has been a fixture in all five of the Champions league qualification phase.
The 3-0 results means FC Sheriff have a firm control of this tie in their quest for this season’s Champions league football. The second leg of the play-off will be on Wednesday 25th in Croatia.
